Zakat Al mal

The Dubai Charity Association aims to emphasize the importance of Zakat (obligatory almsgiving) and its payment, as well as to instill its concept as a charity mandated by Allah for Muslims to pay annually from their wealth and possessions. This is to be distributed to its rightful recipients through designated Islamic financial institutions. When wealth reaches the specified threshold and a year has passed since its acquisition, its owner is obligated to pay Zakat, which is set at 2.5% of the total wealth
